eTwinning is back!!!

In the beginning of December we joined two eTwinning projects:

eTopics is an online magazine where pupils can exchange information and points of view on various subjects with other teenagers in Europe, using English for real purposes. The other schools involved in this project are from France, Italy, Sweden and Romania.

Making new friends through English and French - Teachers and pupils will share information about themselves, their school, their local area and cultural traditions, using either English or French as a means of communicating. Pupils at both schools are learning French and English and the project will provide an opportunity to practise their language skills and to learn more about Europe. The other schools involved in this project are from he United Kingdom, France, Italy, Poland and Romania.

My Breakfast

For breakfast I usually have chocolate and cereals.
I sometimes have time to eat other things, for example at the weekend, like toasts with butter or cheese. I also drink orange juice.

For my breakfast I usually drink chocolate milk, but sometimes I eat cereals.

My breakfast consists of a yoghurt with some fruit but sometimes I eat bread with milk.

Breakfast is a good meal. I take breakfast in the kitchen with my brother. My breakfast is bread and milk with chocolate. But sometimes I wake up late and I only drink a yoghurt. Inês Ferrão

Mybreakfast is a simple meat.I only eat milk and a croissant or an orange juice and bread.In the school I in the middle of the morning, i usualy eatbread and i drink a yoghurt.

Every day, I wake up around half past eleven.
Then, Igo to the kitchen and take breakfast. I eat some cereals with milk or an orange juice, because the orange juice contains many vitamins.
I eat brakfas becaus I want to have more energy.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! :@

My Breakfast

Every day , I wake up at 7.00.
Then , I go to the kitchen and take breakfast.
My breakfast is cereals with milk .

It's always the same breakfast every morning, maybe it's a poor breakfast, but is the only thing I can eat in the morning, it's just a cup of chocolate milk. This might not be the better breakfast but I like it. :)

Summer holidays

I asked my students from 9ºA to write about their summer holidays. This is what some of them said:

Marta "This year I spent my holidays at the beach with my friends. I had such a great time!
In the beginning, when there weren't many people yet, it was a little bit boring.
But in August, the beach was completely crowded!
At night it was cool too! We stayed up all night, and we even built a fire.
I made a lot of new friends from some around of the world, so I spoke English a lot in Armona .
In the morning we slept until late and in the afternoon and we got together.
But in the middle of the summer I had to come to Olhao because I got ill... when I got back, a week later, I made some new friends that had arrived when I at home.
I hope I'll go back next year too, and I hope that I'll have twice the fun I had last summer."

TiagoM "My summer holidays weren't very good because I didn't do anything special. At the weekend I went to the beach with my brother and friends and during the week I played computer and watched television."

Beatriz "My holidays were fun. I went to Morocco and to Azores ( São Miguel). I spent a week in Morocco and I visited museums and typical houses. I also tried to ride a camel and I tried typical foods. I went to the beach, practiced extreme sports, attended parties at the hotels and went to the theatre. I visited Marraqueche, Rabat and Agadir.
While I was in Azores,I had fun with my friends and familiy.
I didn't visit many places there."

Teresa "My holidays were great. I went to the U.S.A and Mexico. In the U.S.A. I spoke English all the time and in Mexico I spoke Spanish. My holidays were so perfect because the places I visited were really beautiful and there were so many things to do and see.
I loved my holidays. =D

Bruna " I went on holiday to Ilha do Farol,it was really fun. I meet many old friends and made new ones. These were the best holidays ever. At night I went to bars, danced and spent time with my friends. During the day I went to the beach or to the bridge."

Zara "I spent my holidays on an island, which I call the "real paradise", its real name is Armona. Every year the the same: when the days become hot we start packing and Armona is the destination ...
Some afternoons I just laid on the sun, others were spent playing games such as football tournaments, cards; and I also dived, laughed, jumped, walked along the beach, all with friends.
I loved my holidays :)"

Daniel "My last summer holidays were very cool. During the first weeks I went to the beach with my best friend Jonas, and then I went to Porto with my uncle and aunt. I stayed there for 2 weeks and it was very cool because I went with them to disco's at night. Well, I totally loved my summer holidays."

Nuno "I was always at home and only went to the beach at the weekend. At home I played computer and Playstation. At the beach I played football and jogged. The best moment of my holidays was a night I stayed at the beach of Cabeço until 5 o'clock in the morning."

Jonas "My last summer holidays were very cool. During the first weeks I went to the beach with my family and friends, and of course I also stayed at home playing computer but I was careful with the time I spent using the computer. Well, I loved my summer holidays and now I'm a little bit annoyed because the school has begun :("

Mário "My summer holidays were the best I ever had. I spent the first week in Armação de Pêra with my friend Eduardo. I also spent some time in paradise (Tavira Island) and of course some time in Olhão, riding my bicycle and playing football with my friend Ruben."

Rita "My summer holidays were great! I stayed in the Algarve and went to the beach with my friends. Every night we went out to a bar or for a walk...
They were fantastic!"

TiagoG "My holidays were good. Most of the time I stayed at home playing computer or console. I rode my bicycle and sometimes I jogged at the end of the day.
I spent 2 weeks in a summer camp. I did the same things almost every day."

Eduardo "The first week I went to Armação de Pera with my friend Mario, we were busy doing many things, like going to the beach and looking at the girls (the cute ones) and scuba diving, which is very cool. After that I spent three weeks at home with my brother and my friend Miguel. He lives in Almada, so after that we went to his house. I also went camping in Odeceixe with my father, my brother and my friends fromn Almada. It was very cool. Miguel and I made a movie about skimming that is very cool. I went to Farol with my mother, my brother and my baby sister, she is 3 years old. I spend three weeks there and some days I went fishing.
The rest of the holidays I stayed at home."

Stephanie "I spent the holidays with my grandmother, my uncle and my aunt at our country house. I went to the beach, to the cinema, to Forum Algarve, I rode a bike in the morning and after lunch I stayed at home, or sometimes I went out to visit my friends."
