My Favourite Musical Tastes

I like all kinds of songs: from Jazz, to Pop-Rock, Hip hop, Rap, Disco and Heavy-metal.
Music is my friend when I’m alone, my company when I’m travelling and my inspiration when I’m working.
I enjoy listening to Music Channels such as: MTV, VH1 and MCM.
I prefer listening to music from the eighties and the nineties because my favourite groups or singers are form those times like: Queen, AC/DC, Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Lenny Kravitz and Michael Jackson.
My favourite music at the moment is “Get on your boots” from the last CD of U2.

I think child slavery is the largest demonstration of man's stupidity. Defenseless children do work for a whole day without eating and at risk of catching diseases. For me child slavery is a disgusting thing.

They work continuously from Monday to Saturday stopping only to sleep in their own space where they work, eat and do the needs ... Child labour has serious consequences that stay with the individual and with society for far longer than the years of childhood. Young workers not only face dangerous working conditions. They face long-term physical, intellectual and emotional stress. They face an adulthood of unemployment and illiteracy.

They are large families with many children and who are very poor and have almost no food, so parents bring their own children to work to help the family. The children work a lot and gain very little, they work as much as adults and sometimes they work very hard, they work many times throughout the day and at night they are tied. That is called child slavery.
I think child slavery is unfair, because children do not have the ability to work as an adult and furthermore the children lose their childhood or the time to play, study and even to live with other children.

Slavery is a serious problem that some people don't understand. Some children are slaves and work 12 hours a day 7 days a week, these children are forced to work, if they don't work the people who have paid for them beat them with a whip. And that is why it is our duty to help these children, so everyone must help us raise funds to rescue these children. Please Help Them.

I think that slavery is one of the worst things in the world, because slaves are mostly children!
They are kids, but they have rights, they have the right of be happy and have a life .
And what makes me more mad is that actually we all know that slavery exists, but people don't do anything (at least those who can, and just won't do anything).
We all can see in the television, on newspapers grups of people who would do almost everything just to save one of those children. Those peaple are my heroes.
Just imagine the horror that the kids have gove through and will continue (if we don' help them). When they are 4 - 5 years old they are sold by their family to work in horrible conditions like poluted water that carry diseases and catch fish for the local fisherman, with only one meal a day, almost no clothes at all, no friends, no toys, no nothing. It's a jail.
It must be like living in a horror movie. I just can't understand the people who do that.

Slavery should not exist in the world. It's a really bad thing, and we have a lot of clothes and objects made by slaves.
In Japan there is a lot of children who work and they don't need or want to do all those things . . .
The governaments should stop more thoses cases of slavery.
The children must be free.
They should be able to play.

I hate slavery because everybody should be free and nobody should desrespect other pople's rights.
A slave is a person that is forced to work and receives no money back, and if they don't do what they are supposed to do they are tortured and they are put in shackles. The slave work is usually made by people from Africa and Asia, and normaly those people are children. To end with that peoblem we should pay attention and help those people, and specially, never use or buy products made by slaves.

Child slavery is a shame for the humam being. I can´t understand why there are people who can treat children like they were animals.
Child slavery is a business for some people without scruples. Some parents sell their children to other people and these people use the children in several works.
Sometimes they work during 10 hours per day or more. There are other children who are sold for prostitution or pedophilia.
The most part of children are taken from Africa or Asia to other countries.
Some are sold by their parents,and other are kidnapped. I don´t know what is worst.
In my point of view children are inocent and they need protection and love.

A typical child of the century in developed countries (richest countries) is in the city schools, libraries, leisure time activities, entertainment parks, among many entertainment. These children (rich) have the warmth of their families, the love of their parents, good conditions of hygiene, joy and smiles ...

A child of the century in the poorest countries in the world where poverty affects over 80% of the children of these countries rely on housework or some other type of work at higher risk for a child, with poor living conditions, tears, suffering, horrific mistreatment ...

It is very sad being hungry and having nothing to eat, having to work, not being able to learn and go to school ...

I think that the people who make this aren’t dignified to be called human beings. People that do this don't have character, scruples, heart. All the children have the right to study and to live at a home, and to live in freedom.
We need to end the child slavery!

Child slavery is a very bad thing, children work as slaves and they shouldn't have to do this. I think we should do something to make this change, because all the children have rights. This world's tragedy affects many children, but there are organizations to fight this problem and this is very good.
